By | Featured, News | No Comments

Humber Press is proud to publish Mapping Nations, Locating Citizens: Interdisciplinary Discussions on Nationalism and Identity, edited by Daniel Hambly—now available as a free eBook!

This book contains a selection of the proceeds of the second annual HLA@IFOA conference, held at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre in the fall of 2015 and attended by a host of academics from Canada and around the world who are doing vital and intriguing research in the fields of nationalism and identity.

The topics explored include indigenous perspectives on Canadian literature, new conceptions of the nature of citizenship and significant changes in Canada’s role in the world, as well as in how it sees itself, both through its approach to the arts and through the impact of recent immigration.
